This is a map representing the Age of Exploration.

The Age of Exploration was from 1450 to 1750. The main reasons for people to go on there expiditions was for God, glory
and gold. Portugal and spain, then Dutch Republic, England, and France all grew greatly within their society and economy
because of there major increase in trading. At the end of the fifteenth century Europeans set out on journeys which they
believed extended out to the ends of the Earth.

Marco Polo was one explorer who took part in these journeys. During his journeys he kept written documents of his
travels which the called The Travels. His book was read by several travelers including columbus and it made people
want to set out on these journeys. With the expansions in Europe the trade routes and systems became much larger
and there was a much higher demand for product because of the increase in population as well. For example, spices
were a major product in trading activities.

Christopher Columbus was also a major explorer in this era.One of the things he discovered were islands of the
Carribean and Hondurus in Central America which are now knows as the indies. Soon people started to realize how
major columbus's discoveries were and set out on voyages to discover new land and achieve great fame and fortune.
All in all, the Age of Exploration was a time of incedible explorers and new discoveries that changed the world.
